The Organisers may restrict mobile filming in selected sessions.

All entries must be made through official registration systems approved by the Organisers.

All entries require payment in full by stated deadlines.

This includes inability to travel, visa refusal, injury, illness, or personal schedule changes.

Late entries may be accepted solely at organiser discretion and will incur a 40 percent surcharge per Event with the fee being non – refundable or transferable from when payment is made .

Competitors are solely responsible for entering correct:

Dancers requesting Visa letters must have entered the event. Obtaining a visa is not the responsibility of the organisers and should an entry visa not be granted in time for the event, the fee of entry is non-refundable or transferable from when payment is made. 

 

Issuing a letter does not guarantee visa approval.

Obtaining travel documents remains solely the responsibility of the participant.

 

No refund is guaranteed for visa refusal.

 

 

 

 

 

A Professional is a dancer who teaches, coaches, performs commercially, competes professionally, or earns income from dance instruction or dancing.

 

Professionals must hold recognised professional standing, licence, or organiser approval.

 

If a ProAm couple has taken part in any DanceSport Professional or Amateur competition, they cannot take part in “ The Roman Empire “ Intercontinental Dance ProAm Competition. They can take part separately with their own students, as professionals or Dance Teachers

 

 

A Teacher is an instructor who dances competitively with a student in Teacher / Student events.

 

A Teacher may be professional or recognised instructor status.

An Amateur / Student is a dancer participating primarily for sport, recreation, education, or personal achievement and not competing as a professional within the event division entered.

 

Teacher (T) – a dance teacher who dances with his/her student

Student (Am) – is a dance student and dances in a couple with either a Professional or a Teacher for their own pleasure, in either a competition or show performances, which are paid for to the organisers

 

A student cannot be a teacher in any dance school, and has not danced in any Dance Sport category for the past 3 (Three) years.

 

 

 

Am/Am – is a couple which is comprised of two Students dancing together. Only couples who do not take part in any DanceSport event for the past 3 years may dance in this category
